DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital offers the latest in imaging technology, allowing physicians to “see” into the body to diagnose diseases and injuries, then plan treatments. Compassionate, personal care from our trained technologists means that you will feel comfortable throughout your procedure.
The department specializes in all forms of imaging, including:
For all our modalities, a computer system is used to save and display images using digital technology. The Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) allows physicians to view digital images from a computer anywhere in the world. This means radiologists can interpret results quickly, usually within 24 to 48 hours. The images can also be easily sent to another physician for a consultation or to your primary care physician.
Our board-certified radiologists provide expert interpretation and diagnosis, so you can have confidence in the quality of the image and the accuracy of the results. When needed, our radiologists also work with 60 subspecialty radiologists throughout the DMC who are affiliated with Wayne State University School of Medicine.
