Bruce Chau, D.O., F.A.C.O.S.
Dr. Chau is a board certified plastic surgeon with 15 years experience in cosmetic facial surgery, breast enhancements and body contouring with ultrasound-assisted liposuction.
He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington in Seattle and his medical degree from Western University of Pomona, California. After completing seven years of residency training in general surgery and burn and plastic/reconstructive surgery in New York and Iowa, he went on to complete a fellowship in aesthetic surgery under the direction of world-renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Robert Flowers in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Dr. Chau is a clinical faculty member at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and a program director for plastic surgery residency. Additionally, he is past chairman of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons (ACOS) Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Discipline, as well as a member of the board of examiners for the ACOS Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Certification Examination. Dr. Chau has presented nationally and authored numerous medical articles on topics such as breast surgery and liposuction.
Barak Tanzman, D.O.
Dr. Barak Tanzman is a skilled and experienced surgeon with an artistic background complementing his chosen career in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery. He received a Bachelors of Science degree from Ohio University and his medical degree from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Tanzman completed a five-year general surgery residency before coming to Michigan for a two-year plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship through the Henry Ford Health System. Dr. Tanzman has extensive training in cosmetic surgery, body reconstruction and hand surgery. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and the Michigan Osteopathic Association.
Dr. Tanzman understands the importance of a person’s self image and how this may affect him or her psychologically and socially. He feels that everyone has an inner beauty that is unique to that person. Dr. Tanzman takes the time to get to know his patients and understand their individual concerns. He can then provide the educated guidance that will help them choose a procedure that will harmonize their inner sense of self with a pleasing visual aesthetic appearance.
Maria Mollicone, R.N., B.S.N.
After becoming a nurse in 1978, Maria worked for 17 years in hospitals and for three years as a clinical educator for nurses. For the past eight years, Maria has dedicated her career to the plastic and cosmetic surgery field. She has worked with several physicians as a surgical nurse assisting in facial and full body cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. She also has worked as a nurse consultant, providing information to patients about cosmetic procedures. She is trained to inject facial fillers and BOTOX®
Cosmetic, and to perform laser hair removal, microdermabrasion, glycolic peels and full skin care treatments. Maria makes it a point to stay abreast of current trends and developments in the cosmetic field by attending seminars and educational opportunities.
Molly Martin, R.N., B.S.N.
Molly is a graduate of the University of Michigan Nursing School and has worked as a clinical laser specialist since 1995. She has had extensive training and course work in all aspects of laser use in medicine and surgery and is a certified Laser Safety Officer. She has also received specialized training in facial aesthetic treatments, including Botox Cosmetic and facial fillers in addition to providing laser hair removal for all skin types.
