3-year, $77M renovation of Sinai-Grace Hospital wraps up

Construction is complete of the third and final phase of the $77 million renovation of the Detroit Medical Center's Sinai-Grace Hospital in northwest Detroit, according to Detroit-based SmithGroupJJR Inc.
The final phase included construction of a new main entrance, an 18,000-square-foot lobby and a 24,000-square-foot radiology department.

After three years of construction and a $77 million investment in Northwest Detroit, DMC Sinai-Grace opens their new 18,000 square foot lobby and main entrance to the public. The newly-constructed areas include the lobby, new radiology and registration areas, two 20-bed Intensive Care Units, and the 59,000 square foot Emergency Department, which opened in 2014 as the first phase of the construction project.
